Routine

The school activities are in accordance with the dictates of State of Osun Ministry of Education. However, the Academy has independent programs that are grouped into :

a)        Daily Activities

The timetable of the Academy is structured as follows:

i)    Resumption: The Academy resumes 7:30am and closes by 4:00pm Mondays to Thursdays while it closes by 1pm on Fridays.

ii)    Assembly: The school holds morning assembly Mondays to Fridays from 7:45am to 8:00am. The assembly does not exclude any teacher or student except those on special duties.

iii)    Lesson: The lesson periods for the Academy are from 8:00am to 2:00pm. However, prep, extra-lessons, laboratory work, or co-curricular come up from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

b)   Weekly Activities:- This include

i) weekly news which comes up every Friday on the morning assembly 

ii) society /club events which shall come up on Thursday afternoons.

iii) Thursday classroom assembly

c)    Termly Activities, which cover:  i)  Open Day

ii)  Field Trip or Excursion 

iii) PTA meeting

iv) SRC and Prefect Council congress.

d)    Annual  Activities include: 

i)     Club/Society Week: This comes up after mid-term break of every 3rd term of an academic year

ii)    Prize Giving Day : This marks the end of every session when prizes are given out to students for academic and behavioural excellence as well as teachers for outstanding performance.
