Welcome to Okanlawon Science Academy (OSCA), The home of science.
OSCA camp is a private Science school of science established purposely for effective grilling of students in Academics and moral standards.

OSCA is a learning community where every student is given deserved attention and rights without any proclivity of sex, religion or race.

At OSCA we provide a learning environment with activities designed to guide, encourage and inspire students in their academics, moral and social responsibilities with special emphasis on demystifying science and mathematics and ensuring that our students excels in mathematics and sciences.

The Academy is established in September 2009 to provide qualitative science education and inculcate high moral values in students as well as attending to their physical alertness.

The Junior school admits all qualified candidates and provides the last segment of basic education in accordance with Federal Government Policy on Education.

Our senior school accommodates only eligible Science candidates.

We have approval of the Osun state ministry of education.

OSCA is proud of conducive environment, adequate facilities and a team of qualified and competent disciplined teachers who you can trust to educate your children.

We hope to warmly receive you soon as our prospecting students or parents.

DISCIPLINE

Discipline to us in OSCA is knowing the right thing to do at the right time.

We build a culture of self-discipline, responsibility, and accountability among members of staff and students.

We train them and instill in them self-esteem, coordination, and timeliness.

This is achieved through the orientation and re-orientation of our students.

VIRTUE

To us, virtue refers to morals, decency, integrity, and everything that brings honor to humanity.

All manners of indecency are not allowed in OSCA

  • We propagate the culture of high morals standards through our orientation and re-orientation.

  • It is our tradition to reward and celebrate decency, integrity and other virtue

  • Role model Day is a special day in OSCA

CREATIVITY

By creativity, we mean the tendency to generate ideas useful in solving problems or in developing new things.

We motivate and inspire learners and teachers to develop problem solving skills through project work.

Hard work is consistently and diligently engaged in with a great deal of effort and endurance.

It requires physical, mental or emotional efforts with high level of focus and purpose

Our leadership skills training is centered on hard work and team spirit.

Our classroom activities and copious exercises as well as study groups are inevitable means of inculcating hard work in students 


Our Uniqueness

Personalized learning for every student.

Small group learning helps a lot to identify individual students problems and discover their potential. OSCA's teaching philosophy is to promote critical thinking in order to experience the excitement of learning. Students are guided and encouraged to develop their own ideas both during and outside of formal classes. All these are highly emphasized in OSCA through our enrichment and intervention programs. A very reliable strategy to build individual students according to their needs

High moral and Academic standards

We focus on producing brilliant, independent, and total humans through intimate interactions, dialogue, and thoughtful provoking conversation with our students.

Adequate Practicals session and group discussion

There are small tutorials and discussion groups that create an atmosphere of increasing knowledge and application of scientific principles. Highly interactive class sessions, adequate group discussions, copious exercises, and the investigation of scientific principles at early stage form the essentials of our training curriculum in OSCA Camp
